Why would I want to be a member?
The San Diego Kayak Club is a great place to hook up with other local kayakers.
The club web page has a wide range of resources for all paddlers. We have sections devoted to different activities of interest to our members (touring, camping, whitewater, surfing, kayak polo, etc.). We also have links to beach & weather conditions and other kayak clubs and resources. We also have e-mail lists to contact other members about last minute events that don't get published in the newsletter.
As a member you also receive a monthly newsletter with articles about recent trips, an upcoming events calendar, and club member specials with some of our advertisers.
Club members can publish classified ads in both our newsletter and the club web page. The ads are free to members (non-members pay a small fee of $20 for a two-month advertisement).
We have monthly meetings with guest speakers that talk about issues that face the local kayaking community. Once every 3 months, we have a special quarterly meeting at a special venue.

All of our club forms and newsletters are in the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to see the files. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download it from Adobe's web page (its free).
